There's also another theory going around that Rocky was actually beaten into a coma in the first minute of the fight against Drago, so Rocky 5 and 6 were just dreams and he really woke up in the new Creed movie where it's all realistic and he's still suffering from health problems relating to the injuries sustained in the Drago fight.
