I been to many beaches on 4 continents. I enjoy Varadero. I stay in the town by the beach away from the busy resort areas. I'm sure there are better. Hurghada (egypt on red sea was nice) & caye caulker (island off coast of belize)are worth mentioning. I have never been to florida or california nor have i been to asia or australia... Just from my experience i like Varadero

Nice, I've spent some time at Varadero myself. I've also been to the red sea for a scuba diving excursion once, beautiful water.

Good buffet, formal dining (so don't forget your suit), casino, free shows, lots and lots of picture taking, Comedy bars, karaoke bar, etc...

                  Alcohol is super expensive though..

There is also extra around $20/person/ night.. This goes to tipping your waiter, maid, etc...

                    Playa Santa in Guanica, PR

it depends what you like, I'm all about peace and quiet laying in a hamaca next to a neverita full of cold ones

anything around the San Juan area is more touristic I prefer the non-tourist area
