The thing that irks me the most is people romanticizing Ali and Tyson and thinking they know boxing. They think rolling through highlight reels of these two gives them a right to have an opinion.
The ****** level 1000 I was reading on FB after Mayweather-Maidana 1 and to paraphrase:
Guy 1: Maidana won that fight because he score more points I think
Guy 2: No, I think Mayweather scored the most points.
My co worker thinks that prime Anderson Silva beats prime Roy Jones Jr.
In a boxing match.
True Story.
Have you ever come across the: If the boxer isn't HW he sucks notion? As if it's their fault they aren't big enough and that champions in lower weight are guys holding mickey mouse titles.
I've had few. They actually laugh at names like Featherweight.

Haha funny you mentioned that, I sometimes post/share boxing articles/ pics on FB, and if the article is about heavies I get likes and comments (most of them are stupid and clueless as ****, but still) but those about fighters from lower divisions never get even single like.
I watched the Broner-Taylor fight and my friend's dad was there too. He started saying Broner was real good and looked like Ali at times. I was like "wtf.."
But he says the ol' "You know, I watched Tyson back in the day!"
