People act like Fedor needs the UFC. Why would he? He's already rich, he's already beaten most of the big names in the heavyweight division, and he's done it without being second banana to Dana White

And if UFC is where all the talent is, why did PRIDE fighters start grabbing up belts and main eventing as soon as they came over?

You kiddies obviously know a **** all about contracts and how seemingly a god given opportunity may be a total trap. I would actually have to read the whole contract to even pass justice on the fairness of the contract itself. I am not even talking about circumstances under which it is signed.

Screw what? for turning down a multi million fight deal for the sake of Fedor's passion of just being able to compete without any BS restrictions for his fans and his country?.. For Fedor siding with Vadim who's his business partner for a number of years now, that Vadim's only goal is to promote MMA worldwide?..remember M-1 were promoting fights since 1997 when Dana was still an Aerobics instructor and doesnt give a **** about MMA. M-1 then was the one giving exposure to international fighters and developing the International grass roots level, If Fedor goes to the UFC and just fight no.3,5,6 ranked HW, does that UP his legacy that was already cemented? if they want Fedor, they should agree to his and his management's terms cause they earned it by Fedor being the P4P King and Greatest MMA fighter of all time not the other way around..Fedor lives a simple life in in the small mining town of Stary Oskol so even Dana and his Cohorts offered him 1 Trillion per fight in exchange for his freedom and co promotion(which is good for the sports) it will still be Irrelevant

Noone acts like he needs UFC, people are annoyed because they want to see him fight there, the fact that he put down such a sweet deal adds more frustration.

BTW Pride fighters for the most part struggle in the UFC, also if they're better UFC wants em because they want the best talent.

lets just say hypothetically fedor does not sign with the ufc and chooses to go elsewhere. seeing as we dont know for sure what the contract said exactly (as m-1 is denying what the public knows as 30million), we cant say for sure what the ufc offered. what we can probably say is that it is probably the biggest payday the ufc has offered. but again, we dont know for sure.

the question is what are the other options at this point? i just dont think he will get another offer that is close to what the ufc is offering. and all you guys are saying its not about the money to fedor, but it obviously is to m-1. where is m-1 gonna go and get the same pay day for fedor? i just dont see any other mma org. being able to pay as much as the ufc. but maybe im wrong??

You're delusional. The UFC wants money first, a binding contract second and talent third.
