Yeah, just playing the game. I know there is not just one "American style" of boxing.

Also, many of the most successful Eastern Euro fighters are based in the USA now.

they may be "based" here in the usa but they aren't american, so it's still a rivalry when they fight an american, imo.

you are correct, but it seems less talked about than the mex-pr, mex-jap rivalry.

maybe because the american boxers as of late can't keep up with the eastern block fighters?
