Still not the preferred gloves of choice by Maidana.

As someone said will you tell an Nba player what rubber shoes to wear?

Ain't the same bro. Every sportsman has a preference. His own tennis racket, his own golf clubs, his own shoes.

It's like telling Lebron to wear reebok shoes. Ain't the same bro.

If it fits you. You buy it. No one should tell you what's better. Only the wearer knows.

It should be noted though, that just that specific pair of blue Everlast MX brand gloves were denied. But Maidana could still wear Everlast MX, as long as they don't rip out the padding like the first time regardless of what Floyd says. If the NSAC grants them for use they by all means he can use them.

The issue here is that Ellerbe said Floyd will walk out of the fight if they choose to wear the MX gloves. Who knows if this is really true or not. Floyd's getting close to $80 million on the back end when it's all said and done, and Maidana is probably only getting some chump change and a few extra scraps (which is a lot of money for him). But then again Maidana is hurting bad, he has a baby and needs that Money Mat lottery ticket.

I honestly don't think Floyd would actually walk away and Team Maidana needs to call on that bluff if they really want to use their special little Mexican gloves. The fact that Team Maidana is hurting and are in desperate need of cash will determine if they do call that bluff or not.
There was no padding missing, they rejected the gloves because they were out of the packaging. Floyd was shook, like most cowards tend to be.

The only big-name fighters Floyd fought who weren't at a disadvantage were Castillo, Corrales, and Judah and many think Castillo won one of those.

I think Floyd would refuse to fight if Maidana didn't wear hot-air balloons at the end of his arms.
Corrales was weight drained big time!
