If Cotto-Canelo happens in May, I think that brings the chance of Mayweather-Pacquiao happening down from 1% to 0%.

Mayweather-Cotto II is better than Cotto-Canelo IMO. But I understand if you'd rather see something fresh.

Let's all just hold out hope for manny vs floyd and cotto vs canelo. That's what we all want. I don't care what months they go in. Let's just get these two next already. These both would be HUGE boxing events in here in the states.

I wouldn't say the 1,600 seat difference is negligible. That would depend on the average ticket price. If the average ticket price is $500, that's 800K more for the gate at MSG. But I think the average ticket price is higher in Vegas than MSG.

With respect to seat price however I think it depends on the fighter really. I think cotto vs Canelo tickets would be priced similarly in either ny or lv. But I do concede the money power of lv casinos. I do know they buy up a bunch of tickets to give to there high rollers. So that in all probability raises ticket prices due to deep pockets.
