    He'd be doing the wrong thing going down to 200lbs, It will take a lot longer than a year to probably go from 270lbs to a very fit 200lbs fighter...
    230-240 would be a good size, still think he should be remaining active maybe fight couple soft touches to get into good shape.

      Ruiz finally got his act together and is in decent shape. He's scheduled to fight today and in October:

        Who's undercard is he fighting on, I didn't think there was many decent cards on for this weekend besides maybe the Buglioni Vs Chudinov fight.

                Ruiz is very talented but if he start losing some weight and get himself into really good shape he could very well be a CW....

                  I cringe when I hear people state this. The guy's 247lbs! Do you really think he's gonna shed another 47-50 pounds to become a CW? That's crazy.

                  He can have success at HW if he stays in decent shape and uses a 'peak-a-boo' style like Mike Tyson.

                    It's not crazy when you look at how freaking fat he is. He's actually OBESE. He's P4P the fattest guy in boxing.
