He's the most legit WW out there for Mayweather right now. I think that much is clear.

Seems a lot of people don't like this fight. I don't mind it, personally.

Especially considering he's going to be fighting in September also.

Regarding your sig picture....Lopez was never anywhere near 35/1. Odds were around -1000 for Ortiz, which would have made Lopez around +600 or so. You usually aren't getting 35/1 unless it's on a draw.

Anyway, that just always bothered me.

      Carry on.

IDK Mayweather-Guerrero makes people flock to their TV's Richard.

Based on popularity, Mayweather vs Canelo is the biggest fight that can be done. But based on competitiveness, Mayweather vs Guerrero is much better.

The only way this would be true is if Mayweather-Guerrero were on CBS. In fact i think this would be a brilliant move on GB part.
Its not a bad fight but certainly not a PPV worthy fight. They would be banking on everyone wanting to see if jail time affected Floyd, not that anyone would be giving Ghost a legitimate chance at winning.

Cotto won´t fight in May,he said in an interview he's planning to return until fall 2013 at the soonest so Canelo will have to find another JWW.

Maybe Ortiz makes a comback...and forsure they'll throw Maidana in there with someone maybe Guerrero.

                    Mayweather - Canelo

                    Lopez - Ortiz II?

                    Maidana - Guerrero

not sure if Ortiz will be ready though

Comin off 2 L's? he better not think he's gonna headline a PPV anytime soon!..

He needs to beat Canelo..and not only beat him..I mean BEAT the **** out of him if he plans on headlining another PPV..until then, co-main event or free HBO/Showtime it is..

I'll take Mayweather-Guerrero and Canelo-Cotto as the co-main..if we could get Mares and Ortiz against decent competition I wouldn't mind either!..
