  • Sparring with Headgear

Hello, I was looking to get back into sparring, my jaw has not been fixed yet, I have to wear a retainer for my overbite, I was thinking of sparring with a headgear on will that help, I have been doing body sparring, should I wait until my jaw is 100%

Get the full cage and tell your partner, "No uppercuts", or wait to heal.

Agree with this. I usually tell my sparring partners - no body shots, no uppercuts, no power punches and I also reserve the right to call "time out" at any time during the session.

Heal first man, no sense in prolonging what ever is wrong with you.
