Lin is gone and he sucks anyway. Rondo wants a 1 year deal to try and play well and have his stock rise again. If it's a 1 year deal, why not???

If he plays really well, you could even try to move him in February for someone or future assets.

I personally think it's stupid to put all of the focus on Aldridge while ignoring and losing out on solid role players. The front office has no chance of getting Aldridge and it's a waste of time. They could have at least retained Ed Davis. He was the only true rim protector on the team. Or put in some time to get Harris.

New Upshaw interview. He's a little emotional in the beginning. I think he knows this is his last shot at the NBA. He says he will be playing with a chip on his shoulder. He said he has a lot to prove in summer league. I think the Lakers may have found their starting center if he's playing at his potential.
