Or is driving with the legs only for the cross, left hook, and uppercuts?

Do you put leg drive into the rear hand right hook?

Your legs drive EVERYTHING. Granted, there are occasional shallow jabs used to set up other things, but you generally put your legs and hips into everything. Sometimes, your legs are thrusting, other times pivoting and pushing. It's too much to go over the basics of punching here but the info is out there.

Does everyone agree with this?
Some people dont use leg drive for the left or right hook. Some only use it for the cross and uppercuts.Last edited by AlexKid; 05-09-2015, 04:30 PM.

Remember, using the legs doesn't necessarily mean thrusting. Think of the way a truck uses torque.

You simply can't find power without the legs, which is why you only arm punch on certain jabs, usually intended to feint, blind, etc.
