  • Why did Wlad v Valuev never happen?

How come they never fought? Valuev was one of the champs in the division when Wlad was starting to unify the titles and one of the bigger names in the division at the time.

Not that i rated Valuev that highly or anything but it seems an obvious fight that should have happened.

You have to fight Valuev inside, or run like for 12 rnds the way coward haye did.

Neither of which is Wlads game. He didn't want any part of fhe much bigger man.

A lot of people are sleeping on that big Chinese dude. He's a better version of Valuev IMO. Will be tough to beat, no matter how much better the other guys are. He's just too big.

Never heard of the fight being discussed but I know Vitali was in talks of fighting him multiple times and Don King put a block on it.

Well that's the story with Fury in there. He is going to be hard to beat for anybody because he's so big but he actually moves well and does some very smart things in the ring, he knew how to negate anything Wlad does. That size plus a good ring IQ and the skill to implement it is going to be tough to beat. It might not be always pretty, but it's effective.

He's like Valuev, slow amd goofy at times, but that size advantage is insane.

Fighting a bigger opponent is incredibly hard to do.

well see, we've seen smaller guys get in on Tyson and land.

Also, Joshua, Joseph, and Wilder aren't small either. These are guys he will have to deal with eventually. None of them are trigger shy the way Wlad is either.

Yeah but he doesn't use that size well. He just brawls. Also there's no real threat to Tyson Fury atm, those 3 guys you mentioned should be easy work for Tyson.

He's got 40 + lbs on most heavyweights, he doesn't need to box with anyone.

If he can stay in front if his opponents and keep his hands moving, he's going to win.

I did see him rocked in one fight by an overhead I think... May have some chin issues but yeah he's a genetic freak. This man would dwarf Tyson Fury and is all muscle too.
