He lost his grand mother and his mother was severely ill, so it's understandable that his head wasn't in the right place last year. He was in good shape though for the weigh-in and hopefully he fights at least 3/4 times next year against good opposition.

But with Gavin it's an indication he's getting his shit sorted out. He's already hired a nutritionist, I think he needs to get a strength & conditioning coach. He's too sluggish at 147, a far cry from what he was like as an amateur. I'd rather see him at 140 but if that's too low he at least needs to grow into 147.
