They may not have been absolutely shot, but you're measuring the tread on their tires in the wrong way. You should look at when these guys started boxing in comparison to when they fought Pacquiao. Barrera, Marquez and Morales had been fighting for a while, and were involved in many wars.Campbell = 36 years old
Casamayor = 37 years old
Juan Diaz = Coming From a Loss
Khan and Peterson = Prospects and still Green
Katsidis coming from KO
At least Morales was 27 years old
Barrera was 28 years old
Marquez was 29 years old
When Pac fought them.. They only became old when Pac demolish them..Last edited by Omalsi11; 08-21-2008, 01:38 PM.Comment

Do you understand that the point of me making that point, was to illustrate that Pacquaio and Mayweather both were generally at the same weight class.
in the same time period.
Pacquaio Didnt really have an Amateur Career.
Mayweather did.
So if Pacquaio would have Fought in the Amaters he would of probably fought at 112 like Mayweather did.
But since he turn Pro so early His first couple of fights were at lower weights so he could get comfortable.
Pacquaio Turn Pro in 1995 at 106 and in less than one year he moved up to 112
In 1994 Mayweather was fighting at 114 lb
What does that tell you..?Last edited by Horus; 08-21-2008, 01:49 PM.Comment

To Put this into Prospective on How Big Manny Pacquaio Body frame is:
Miguel Cotto: height 5′ 7″ 5ft. 7in. (1.70m) reach 67“
Manny Pacquaio: 5 ft 6.5 in (1.69 m) reach 67“
So what is an 5'6 Fighter with "67" inch reach doing fighting at 112 pounds as a Professional and staying there for 5-6 years..?
