    The light heavyweight champion of the World Boxing Association (WBA), Beibut Shumenov (9-1, 6 KOs), will be defending his title for the first time, against his mandatory challenger, Ukrainian Vyacheslav Uzelkov (22-0, 14 KOs) on July 23, as the main event at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, California, and will be televised live on ESPN2 (10pm ET/7pm PT).

              Newsflash, Kazakhs are Asian. The Asian continent extends all the way to the Urals, its not just the Chinese and the Japs you know.

                I'm thinking the same thing, he looks considerbly smaller than how i'v seen him previously. I was thinking that maybe he'd look better after he rehydrates but then why would he have come in at 172 if he was struggling to make weight.

                    I have never seen Uzelkov before but hopefully he takes the title from Shumenov who didn't deserve the belt in the 1st place after getting schooled by Campillo.
