If Green catches Ward with something big early in the fight, will he not finish the job? - Ward hasn't been down since 2005 vs Darnell Boone - but there is a chance of Ward getting caught with something big that could trouble him.
Despite Ward being the more versatile operator and all round better boxer imo - there is that possibility of him getting tagged and hurt obviously as Green has alot of beef behind a big shot!

It's true - If you have a punchers chance then you have a chance in general of winning any bout, because you have that ability to completely turn a fight on his head with one big shot.
I just think Ward will be too busy in the ring that night - his speed and general movement should frustrate Green, even tho Green is a good offensive boxer - with a pretty decent jab and attacking arsenal - Green lacks the real defensive qualities to beat Ward - imo anyway (I may be proved wrong)

I am in no way saying Green can't win this one because he can - but in my opinion if he is to win this, he'll will win early or midway into the fight.

Greens only loss was to Miranda, and that was a fight he went in weight and i also read something about him having trouble with an illness that caused him to have surgery to remove 85% of his colon. from what i've seen he can punch and finish. he doesnt look the quickest but the guys i've seen him destroy had some speed. still, Ward has all the tools, and his boxing ability should make this a very good fight. boxer vs puncher.

something in my gut tells me to go with Green, but that has just as much to do with the fact that this guy was cracking me up on showtime's 360.

Green was whack and always has been whack. He also turned down a fight with Bute sometime ago. His power is also overrated. Didn't he back out of the Bika fight too? I think he did. Don't remember. Dude is whack, dude got a major push from boxing talk.com cuz' G. Leon was advising or his manager or whatever.
