If father never acknowleges his and one day he has a change of heart and walks up on his son tells and shows him proof that he is indeed his father and the son says "get out of my face f@ggot!" you think the son is out of line?

Just trying to get a read on where you coming from by taking this away from Sr and Jr.
I see equal/worse family squabbles on television (for example, Real Housewives.).

STILL, I would not personally do what Junior did. I would walk away. Or so I'd like to think.

I didn't... it was right in the middle of the argument.

I have to admit I felt exactly as you described when watching it.

And yes, I did notice that the child was escorted out and away. It was just a mess.

You are absolutely correct. Its had absolutely nothing to do with boxing. It should be called "The Mayweathers". Its entertaining in the same sense of a car wreck. You cannot look away.

I just hated seeing them air their laundry like that on television. It was almost painful. It obviously made for great ratings but still ... Larry was dead on with his comments.

Exactly to the bold but its PBF anything he does will be blown out of proportion.

Its easy to say you would walk away because its hard for you to even imagine having that type of relationship with your father let alone that type of argument.

I can say for a fact that I wouldn't walk away cause to me I wouldn't be arguing with a man I respect so I would feel no way about what was said or if it became physical.

When floyd was talking about his cases that was great TV. Watching him play the fake gangsta and pop isht is funny and good TV. I could do without watching a father threaten to kick his son's a$$ and the son calling the father a fa&&ot on TV.

                Reed,

I WENT BACK AND WATCHED, And I think that you are right, and I mis-interpreted how things unfolded.

While Floyd was INITIALLY trying to diffuse the situation, about midway, he came back with the "nobody wants to be with you" line. Which is hurtful and non-productive.

You made the better call. Thanks.

agreed I got the sense that he was talking about himself beating the **** out of Floyd

Some sports dads can be extremely harsh on their kids. It's nothing new. It's "supposedly" a taboo subject to talk about. I've witnessed dads at little league, and football games lose it and go nuts on their kids, cursing them out as if they were adults.

To most in that environment, it's the norm. To a few, it never fails to leave them flabbergasted at the conduct.

Naturally, kids grow up with a disdain for their dads far into adulthood.

To understand what that fight was about, all you have to do is look at Roger's reaction... He had none.
He knew this was just a father and son thing.

Prolly, same ****, different day for him.
