Manny confused and was controlling the fight but once Cotto abandoned
that plan he became a lamb to the slaughter. Manny throughout his career
has had problems with pure boxers and I think that is not far fetch to believe.

How many fighters are possibly in their prime after 68 fights? He beat a Ricky Hatton that was two fights removed from the Mayweather knock out loss, and and one fight removed from a tough referee aided juan lazcano victory! And Cotto who was 5 months removed from the Clottley war and 2 fights total removed from a knockout loss! And you some how consider these fighters to be in the prime? Why? Even EriK Morales had 52 fights when he met Pacman. And If De lahoya was still good and "VERY BIG", then what was he, when Floyd beat him??? So if it Hatton was in his prime when Pacman beat him at 45-1, what was he when Floyd beat him at 43-0?
and hatton? just look how he performed against malignaggi
and cotto, its pretty obvious. dont fool yourself. cotto can beat ANYBODY @147, but that is if he stays out of pacs way. its frankly ****** to say cotto was no longer in his prime just because of a not so competitive clottey fight.
morales was no longer in his prime when he faced pac the second time around. but he was still near in his prime and can actually beat jsut anybody in that weight at that time, save for pac perhaps
yes hoya was very very big and therefore too dangerous for a lightweight who has fought 90% of his career at 130 and below and who hasnt even gone through junior welterweight yet. and also, HOYA BEAT FLOYD.
just because a fighter loses to someone or got KOed doesnt mean they are already shot. when you start losing to cab drivers, thats when youre shot. and going by your argument, pac is already shot when he beat barrera, JMM, morales, hatton and hoya. why? he got KOed very badly twice before.

let me tell you once more, hater. Hoya was percieved to be too dangerous for pac in their fight, and im just wondering which cave have you been living because every knowledgeable boxing fans and critics even criticized hoya for taking the fight. that is the point here junior. of course HOya was at his best durign the 90s and nobody here is denying that elementary argument.
just because im on pacs side doenst mean im a ******* or whatever. i even picked hoya to obliterate pac into pieces and for hatton to Knock him out cold. and its you whose acting lunatic here. hell i know your type hater. your the type of guy who says every pac win is a fluke and that he cant beat any good people, just shot guys. lol lol lol
snap uot of it man

C'mon.....be serious!!! Cotto is talking about fighting castillo as his next opponent. That tells you everything you need to know about where cotto is as a fighter atm. He was finished physically and mentally after Margarito (Freddie Roach said as much before the fight with his charge). He looked terrible against Jennings and lost to Clottey full stop!! He took 3 or 4 times as much punishment from Margarito (in all likelyhood with loaded gloves) than from Manny before he went down. Pac practically tapped him on the chin and he got wobbly. Sounds + looks like a fighter who's best days are numbered to me.
And don't even get me started about DLH beat Floyd!! Learn to score a fight. Next you will be telling everyone here Zab beat Floyd. Floyd won easily. He took 8 rds MINIMUM (i had Floyd winning 9 rds). DLH got a split because he is DLH "The Golden Boy"!!! If it was any other fighter that night it would have been a UD to PBF.
I don't have a problem with fans giving Floyd Mayweather **** or trying to discredit him, but for the love of GOD ALMIGHTY try to use some objectivity or at least know WTF you are actually on about. Some of the assertions fans make on this forum on both sides are down right pathetic and just plain silly!!!
