    Manny Pacquiao vs. Roberto Duran

Since some have wondered if Manny would have beaten Chico and Castillo that Floyd fought...and it's been asked about if Floyd can beat Duran...why not push it further and wonder if Manny could have beaten certain fighters on his way up if these fighters were in their prime.

Fantasy: Prime vs. Prime: Pac vs. Duran. And you can comment on if you think Manny would beat the Chico and Castillo that Floyd fought.

And yes; I know where Manny started

It would be interesting: should have had an open poll...can I edit/change it?

Surprisingly I think this is a competitive fight at 135 or 147. But Duran wins decisions at either weight, with his very underrated defense being the difference.

This would be a great fight to watch though.

Duran seems the obvious choice, but Manny is so busy, and moves in and out so well, it would be difficult for Duran to counter.

Seeing as Duran was arguably the best LW ever, and moved up to out fight a prime Leonard (which i dont think Pac could ever do), the safe bet is Duran.

You think he had an underrated defense? Why, becausee of his offense; Kind of like how a young Tyson's defense was overlooked?

Duran was an incredible all around fighter.

Yes he was an incredible all around fighter. But many people tend to overlook his superb defense because of his relentless offense. Don't get me wrong, there are many educated fanson here and on other sites. Unfortunetly there are many times more the amount of ignorant fans that base their opinions of Duran on the second Leonard fight and blow out loss to Hearns. Duran, in my lifetime, comes as close to the perfect fighting machine as just about any other fighter I have seen. The guy had it all.
