  • Comments Thread For: V. Klitschko Expects Competitive Mormeck With Wladimir

WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (56-3, 49KOs) feels his younger brother's upcoming fight will be competitive. WBO/WBA/IBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko will defend his belt against former cruiserweight champion Jean Marc Mormeck (36-4, 22KOs) on March 3rd in Germany. The bout was going to happen earlier this month, but Wladimir was forced to postpone after undergoing an emergency surgery to remove a kidney stone. The critics have attacked the fight, calling the fight a very bad "mismatch."

Mormeck is only like 5'11", past his prime and he's already been KO'd twice by Cruiserweights. This fight isn't going to be the least bit competitive.

Well of course Vitali is going to promote the fight, what else is he supposed to say? "Wladimir is going to dominate Mormeck for a few rounds until he brutally KO him"?

Wladimir should cancel the Mormeck fight and should fight his mandatory Thompson next. Mormeck is a usless fight.

Wlad will KO Mormeck no doubt about it.

Let's remember that K2 are the promoters here, so he's hardly going to say "this is a total joke of a fight against a has been CW"....is he?

            They are quite cynical businessmen.

Vitali is on his knees crying for a Haye bout, just like Wlad was.

                    I agree.

Klitschko-Thompson II is not as bad a mismatch as Klitschko-Mormeck.

I'm a huge fan of Wlad but I just can't get excited about the Mormeck fight.
