Yes it has. This and the corruption within these organizations. They have lost all creditablity. I was a fan when there was only two and that was acceptible, but now the sport is deluted by groups that hold profit above the good of the boxers and the sport itself.

I don't think you can think otherwise.
First thing I hear non-fans gripe about is "what's with all of those titles?"....
As a serious fan of the sport I believe over the years the #1 problem has been big fights not being made or some of what does get made being duds or controversial.

I'm ok with all the divisions (except strawweight) but like everyone I think there should only be one champion. Having multiple titles makes boxing look bush league.
However, those who want all the champions and divisions gone might just regret that stance that if less boxing appears on their TV. There is absolutely no doubt that networks want title fights unless you are talking about Pacquiao or Tyson.Last edited by Scott9945; 02-06-2013, 11:16 PM.
