How to box a taller opponent

if he is one of those tall guys that just keep jabbing you to keep you away and you find urself being impossible to go inside on him then jab to his ribs when hes jabbing ..take away his body and trust me he doesn't want to extend that punch out because its painful..once you know you got him like that..just go inside and just wreck him

I have posted this question on the other sites Just want to get as much advice as I can.

I sparred with a 6'0 guy and I am only 5'6 (154)lbs. I can't hit him. Any technique that you can advise me?

eventually he wont be able to stand strait
also get in as many elbows n heatbutts as possible
