An excellent performance by Quintana in the first! he didn't let Williams fight his fight and was able to keep him out of his element. Do you think the second fight will be any different then the first if it does happen and what is your prediction?

I think if williams stays under 150 for atleast a month before the fight instead of being 50 pounds over the welter limit a week before the fight, he will be better. I just didn't see any fight in him and that is cuz of the weight drainage that he had to go through for the fight. either that or he just has no heart.

It's tough maintaining a low weight for such a big guy like Paul.
He's gonna have to move up soon, I don't think what he is doing is healthy.

I've always felt that Williams was looking past Quintana and was poorly focused for their fight. If he can still make 147 safely I think PW will win rather handily this time.

I agree with this, and even though I think he'll win, it would be in Williams best interest to move up to 154. Win or lose this should be his last fight at 147.

If Williams finds out a way to deal with Quintana's movement then he has a better chance. I think his movement confused the hell of out him which led to a lesser punch output. Im thinking Williams learned something from that fight and will come back and win the second fight, but it's going to be close.

Everybody thought Carlos blew his one chance to be elite when Cotto stopped him, but it wasn't as one sided as everyone thinks. I had him up in the fight at the time he got ko'd. Paul took him lightly and paid the price. I respect Quintana too much to say it was a fluke, but at his best I think Williams can win a close decision.

I doubt he was looking past Quintana, and they never claimed to have had trouble making weight.

It was the movement that bothered him, and the numerous left hands he took throughout the fight. Williams has every advantage to improve on his technical mistakes, but then again I think Quintana will go to the body more in the rematch and win enough rounds to keep the belt.

i will be rooting for Williams, but it seems Quintana is the smarter fighter.

you realize that even making 160 for williams is a triumph? I think williams should just move up to super middleweight or even light heavyweight where he belongs and where he doesn't have to kill himself to make weight.
