  • Comments Thread For: Peter Quillin-Danny Jacobs Targeted For 2/1 at Barclays

The Super Bowl of fights already took place on Sept. 14 when Floyd Mayweather Jr. out-pointed Saul Alvarez in Las Vegas in the biggest fight of the year.

But there’s another fight that could potentially happen on Super Bowl weekend in Brooklyn, New York, sharing some of the attention of the NFL’s title game and cultural happening at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Quillin ain't rematching Rosado. Outside a Martinez fight this is the most money they are going to make for Quillin fighting Jacobs in NY. They have a following and a backstory.

Jacobs has a decent chance if his chin holds out and the judges are fair

I think Jacobs beats him soundly, hes probably going to need a stoppage though if lasts weeks judging panel was anything to go by.

They want Jacobs to have the title before they throw Quillin back into an iffy rematch with Rosado.

Jacobs is dangerous -- he took a close look at Death... He fights as if he's fighting the "last fight"...

Yes. It's most likely that they are making this fight for Jacobs.
