What would be the best waist size for a Jr. Welterweight?

Hips and waist help generate power, would a smaller waist help with speed?

I'm 5'9 and trying to get a size 30 waist. I do alot of head and body movements and i think it will work.

hey don't worry about having a big waist. i'm 5'7" and i fight at the 106 weight class. i'm a pretty hard hitter for my weight class. all i gotta do is set up my right from the jab and there goes ur equilibrium
