I've given Wilder a lot of stick over the years, but he wasn't as bad as I thought he was initially.

He beat a number of top 10 guys, Stiverne and Ortiz are solid wins, and he has a draw with Fury and truth be told another ref might've counted Fury out which would change all perceptions....

Wilder was overrated and overhyped for sure, but he wasn't quite as bad as OP is suggesting. Taking personality out of it, he is an exciting fighter with a rocket punch.
