i understand their decision, but if i was John's manager, it would had been worth waiting to see what Juarez wanted to do because the exposure for John on that HBO PPV card would ovbiously be greater and more beneficial than having John fight a no body in some country where the fight wont get US attention. That just seems kind of odd.

If they really want to fight in the US soil to get more exposure with the idea that they can defeat Juarez, they could have just waited for Juarez to decide or try another named fighter in the US, and not go back to Indonesia.

How big is this John guy in Indonesia??? If he's well-followed and is making good money (and his team also), then it's seems pretty fishy that they wouldn't be willing to wait another week or so for Juarez to make up his mind. The fight wouldn't have been until September!
For John to have come to America, beat a known fighter like Juarez, and get some good exposure could've really helped his career. This sounds like a team totally protecting their fighter...who it doesn't seem they have much faith in to come to the States and win this fight.
