The IBA Boxing Night went ahead in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, this past weekend with Michael Buffer as MC. In the main event local hero Hasanboy Dusmanotov outscored Spaniard Samuel Carmona to win the IBA flyweight title.

American heavyweight Michael Hunter lost on points to Asleri Suslenkov and Croatian Agron Skamici was beaten by Aslen Suslenkov.

Will these fights count anywhere? With the IBA, financially well off but out in the cold as far as the Olympics go, yes but not anywhere else it seems.
