KRAKOW, POLAND - The official weigh in for tomorrow's "The Final Call" pay-per-view event was held today and all of the fighters made weight (see below). Four bouts are scheduled to air tomorrow, starting at 2:00 p.m. ET / 11:00 a.m. PT, live from Tauron Arena in Krakow, Poland. Two other fights may be shown, time permitting

The show is topped by another big homecoming, as former light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion Tomasz Adamek faces Eric Molina in a 12-round heavyweight bout. ‘’I’m very grateful that my promoter Kalle Sauerland has given me this opportunity. Bad luck for Yoan Pablo Hernandez (27-1, 13 KOs): The IBF World Champion broke his left hand during a sparring session ahead of his upcoming fight on February 2. Hernandez was set to defend his title against Eric Fields (21-1, 15 KOs) at the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin, Germany as part of the show topped by the European Light Heavyweight Championship between Eduard Gutknecht (24-1, 9 KOs) and Juergen Braehmer (38-2, 30 KOs), which will still go ahead as planned.

By Jake Donovan - Yoan Pablo Hernandez has been forced to withdraw from his upcoming cruiserweight title defense versus Eric Fields after suffering a fractured left hand during a recent sparring session. The rest of the show remains intact for February 2 at Max Schmelling Halle in Berlin, Germany. The main event pits Eduard Gutknecht (24-1, 9KO) against Juergen Braehmer (38-2, 30KO) in a domestic light heavyweight title fight. "We will stand by Pablo and will make sure that he receives the best medical attention out there," informed Frederick Ness, managing director of Sauerland Event. We are all hoping that he gets back as soon as possible."

D-day is getting closer. The big fight night at the Max-Schmeling-Halle is only a few weeks away and Eduard Gutknecht (European Light Heavyweight Championship against Juergen Braehmer) and Yoan Pablo Hernandez (IBF World Title fight versus Eric Fields) are planning on holding on to their respective belts. To ensure a positive start to 2013 the two prodigies of coach Ulli Wegner have opted to spent the rest of their preparation time at the Olympic training facilities in Kienbaum near Berlin, Germany.

By Jake Donovan - Lineal cruiserweight champion Yoan Pablo Hernandez will return to the ring on February 2, when he next defends his crown against Eric Fields of the United States. The fight will take place at Max Schmelling Halle in Berlin, marking Hernandez’ sixth appearance at the historic venue. “I am very excited“, said Hernandez (27-1-1, 13KO) in a statement. “Berlin has become my new home. I live and train here. Never before have I stood inside the ring of the Max Schmeling Halle as the champion of the world.” The bout shares marquee space with a domestic light heavyweight scrap between Eduard Gutknecht and Juergen Braehmer. Hernandez’ last appearance at the hosting venue came in Dec. ’10, scoring a 1st round knockout over Ali Ismailov in his last fight before officially entering the title fray. An interim title win over Steve Herelius two months later paved the way for his vacant World lineal championship with Cunningham, whom he bested via technical decision in their aborted first fight in Oct. ’11.

Turning Stone Resort & Casino, Verona, New York - Ryan McKenzie (11-0, 10KOs) outboxed Eric Watkins (7-3) for a six round unanimous decision in a light heavyweight contest. The scores were 58-56 and 59-55 twice.
