Heavyweight contender Carlos Takam believes the scenario is perfect for a rematch with Derek Chisora. And then Chisora caught Takam cold in the eight, dropping him down twice for a come from behind knockout victory.
As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, heavyweight contender Derek Chisora is not looking to retire any time soon. Last month, Chisora was fighting toe to toe in his long pursued rematch with Dillian Whyte. Chisora was up on the cards when he got knocked out by Whyte in the eleventh round.

Carlos Takam knows as much about Anthony Joshua and Alexander Povetkin as any heavyweight. The rugged contender from Cameroon has lost to both boxers, including a 10th-round technical knockout defeat to Joshua on October 28 in Cardiff, Wales. Takam declined to pick a winner when he was interviewed by Sky Sports, but he assessed Povetkin’s chances of pulling off an upset Saturday night at Wembley Stadium in London.
DON CHARLES, Dereck Chisora’s trainer, was thrilled with his fighter’s performance against Carlos Takam but had some strong words for those who have written Chisora off over the years. Despite Chisora not being known for his one-punch power, Charles was not shocked by the quick and violent ending that saw Takam felled by a brace of stunning right hands.
