Diego Cháves has no doubt who will win the duel between two of his former opponents come November 7. While the Argentine is preparing for his own big fight, a world title challenge against Kell Brook later this month, he offered his opinions on two other upcoming battles.
"Tim Bradley is going to win, very comfortably," an assured Cháves told BoxingScene.com.
"Brandon Ríos has been in a lot of hard wars. He had two hard fights with Alvarado, one with me, one with Manny Pacquiao. I think the punches are affecting him. Bradley is a lot superior both in mobility and speed and that's going to make life difficult for Ríos."
More immediate is Saturday night's clash between Lucas Matthysse and Viktor Postol for the vacant WBC title at 140lbs. Diego is backing his countryman to emerge as the victor.
"I think Lucas is looking very good.. He's grown a lot as a boxer, he showed that against [Ruslan] Provodnikov.
"I think it's a hard fight, Postol is taller and quite fast but Lucas has advantages in boxing terms and that will help him get the win."
