Unbeaten junior lightweight Andy Vences will fight Manuel Rojas on December 5, Top Rank matchmaker Brad Goodman told BoxingScene.com over the weekend.

The eight round bout will take place at Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif. The bout will precede the junior welterweight bout between Jose Ramirez of nearby Avenal and Johnny Garcia.

Both fights will air on UniMas, beginning at 11 p.m. ET/ PT.

Vences (13-0, 9 KOs), who signed with Top Rank in July, has displayed significant punching power in his last several bouts. The San Jose, Calif. resident has stopped his last seven opponents in a row.

In his last bout on September 26, Vences stopped Andres Bustamante in the first round.

Rojas (12-2, 4 KOs) has won his last three bouts in a row. The 22-year-old from Dallas defeated Chris Singleton by unanimous decision over eight rounds in his last bout on August 8.

Rojas' significant bout as a pro was an eight round unanimous decision loss to unbeaten Casey Ramos in November of last year.

The Vences-Rojas and Ramirez-Garcia fights will air on a 'Solo Boxeo Tecate' telecast.
