Despite whatever is being reported or whatever claims are being made by Amir Khan and his camp members, those involved with Manny Pacquiao vehemently deny that any agreement has been reached for a fight between the two for April 9th. Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank has already refuted those claims.

According to statements published by UK outlet Daily Mail, Khan's father, Shah, claimed that a contract was executed by their side and sent over to Arum last Friday. The paper sensationalized Shah's statements by reporting that Pacquiao-Khan was a 'done deal.'

And now Pacquiao's long-time adviser, Mike Koncz, tells BoxingScene.com - "[Khan] doensn't have a contract because he sure as sh*t didn't get one because Manny and me didn't agree to anything, [and] Arum doesn't have a contract. So I don't know what they're talking about."

So was this Khan being Khan, again?

"Well, I don't know about that, all I know is Manny and I didn't agree to anything and as far as I know - Arum has no contract and Arum wouldn't do that," said Koncz on Tuesday.

As for the process of selecting Pacquiao's next opponent, Koncz explained:

"Well, we're going to meet in Israel. I'm going to meet him there on the 15th, whether we talk about narrowing down or whittling down an opponent, I don't know."
