Former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr. has been working very closely as of late with former WBC light heavyweight king Jean Pascal. Jones helped Pascal tremendously for his recent dominating win over Canadian rival Lucian Bute.

If Jones had a choice, he would love to see Pascal (29-2-1, 17KOs) move his career forward with a rematch against IBF/WBA 'regular' super middleweight champion Carl Froch (32-2, 23KOs).

They fought in 2008, for the vacant WBC crown at 168-pounds, and waged a wild war for twelve rounds in Froch's backyard of Nottingham.

A rematch will be tough to make, because Froch does not appear ready to leave the super middleweight division and Pascal is not going to drop down to 168.

"My personal preference is for him to fight Carl Froch. But again, this is his world, not mine. Carl Froch has a country behind him. In some fights the whole world is concerned. As far as Canada is concerned, you saw over 20,000 come out [for Pascal-Bute]. When they fought the first time, the fight was so good that I think it would good for people to see," Jones said.
