Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson’s new memoir was supposed to make heads turn. And it did! Tyson confessed in his new book - Undisputed Truth - that he used a fake penis to fool drug-testers and fought on cocaine. According to the Mirror, Tyson claimed he spent a large chunk of his career addicted to cocaine and marijuana.

He also admits taking drugs before his shock loss to Londoner Danny Williams in Louisville in July 2004 in his memoir published on Tuesday, the report said.

Tyson, who retired in 2005, also admits devising a fake penis to avoid failing drugs tests. Tyson said he came up with the idea before his fight against Lou Savarese at Hampden Park in Glasgow in June 2000 and one of his team would bring it to each contest, the report further said.

He admits he had taken 'blow' and 'pot' before the bout and filled his penis with someone else's urine to dupe the testers, according to the report.

Veteran promoter Frank Warren, who promoted Tyson's UK bouts, was furious with the boxer's claims.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live, Warren said: “I don't know whether cocaine, or whatever he was taking, is a performance-enhancing drug, but it's a banned substance. Boxing is a dangerous sport and to be taking something that may cause your performance to be enhanced is a serious danger to your opponent.

“I haven't seen the book yet. All I've done is heard about some of the extracts. When I've seen the book, I'll make my decision then. But I'm sure the British Boxing Board of Control will have something to say about it as well.”

“I'm pretty disgusted. When he fought here, he was tested by UK Sport, who do all of the drug testing on boxers and nothing came up to say that any drugs were in his system. But the claim that he used a prosthetic penis... I don't know whether I believe it or not, or whether it's one of those things that sells books.”
