Puerto Rican bantamweight Cesar Seda Jr. (22-1, 16KOs) is ready for the next chapter of his career. On Saturday night in Quintana Roo, Mexico - Seda will return to the ring against Luis May (11-5, 6KOs) in an eight round bout. The fight will be the first for Seda under the promotional banner of Golden Boy Promotions.

The 26-year-old fighter failed in 2011 to get the bantamweight crown when he lost a unanimous decision to Omar Narvaez.

Seda is motivated with his Golden Boy deal, because there are fighters in their roster that he wants to fight.

"De La Hoya has two champions at 118, Anselmo Moreno (WBA) and Leo Santa Cruz (IBF). You also have Abner Mares (WBC) at 122. Our idea is to have two more fights and climb in the rankings. Then we'll go for a world title," Seda said to Carlos Narvaez.
