San Juan, PR-  Wisely focused on continuing to work on his plan to become a world champion, the skilled Puerto Rican contender Thomas Dulorme (22-2, 14KO's) turned down an offer to take on former world champion, Ruslan Provodnikov (24-4, 17KO's) on November 7 in New York.

"I'm very happy with the support and affection that the fans have given me, even if I did not leave victorious against Terence Crawford. In deference to those fans, my family, my team and of course, myself, I decided not to take this offer to fight against Provodnikov", said ranked # 11 by the WBA 140-pound fighter. "We must act in an intelligent and accurate manner, not rushed into combat without the time to step into the ring in top condition. We have a goal of world championship and must work accordingly  toward it. I respect Provodnikov and like that fight, later we can sit down and negotiate. "

Meanwhile, the President and CEO of ADM (firm that advises Dulorme) Richy Miranda-Cortese said, "We ensure the proper development of Dulorme, short and long term. We believe that the time was extremely short to achieve 100 percent condition against a quality boxer like Provodnikov. Dulorme is ready to return to the ring before the end of the year, as  prelude to a 2016 of great challenges and opportunities for him. "

Dulorme, who will be a spectator on November 7 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, remains evaluating important aspects of his team and inner circle, this course toward an opportunity for the world title.
