WBO interim-welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (31-1-1, 12KOs) has no interest in a rematch with Jessie Vargas (26-1, 9KOs).

Bradley won a twelve round unanimous decision over Vargas last night at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Bradley controlled the action and won a twelve round unanimous decision, but not before he was badly rocked in the final minute of the final round and nearly derailed. With about ten seconds remaining, referee Pat Russell accidently jumped in and stopped the fight early as Vargas was trying to go for the finish.

Vargas started celebrating, believing he had won by TKO and then became furious when he learned that Russell admitted that he jumped in too early to stop the fight.

Vargas is not demanding a rematch, which is of no interest to Bradley.

For the last week, Bradley has been mentioned a fight with WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin - at a catch-weight of 154-pounds. Bradley is still talking a fight with Golovkin - and even heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.

“I’m not into rematches,” Bradley said. “I want to fight the best guys and I don’t care who they are. That’s why I talked about Golovkin. I’d even talk about Klitschko. I don’t care how big he is, I know I could last six rounds with him.”

Bradley's promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, is more focused on putting his fighter in the ring with unbeaten contender Sadam Ali.
