According to Russian promoter Vladimir Hryunov, WBA interim-middleweight champion Dmitry Chudinov (14-0-2, 9KOs) of Russia is poised to return on February 28th at the O2 Arena in London. Promoter Frank Warren is staging a big card at the venue that night, which is going to be headlined by heavyweight Tyson Fury.

Chudinov's opponent that night, says Hryunov, is none other than the recently defeated Chris Eubank Jr. (18-1, 13KOs), who less than a month ago suffered his first career defeat with a close twelve round split decision loss to Billy Joe Saunders in a WBO final eliminator.

Chudinov has been on a roll, dominating previously undefeated Patrick Nielsen in June and then demolishing Mehdi Bouadla in three rounds. He is also no stranger to fighting in the UK, having gone there twice in 2013.

"Russian boxers have recently been criticized, with people saying that they only want to fight at home - so we took up the challenge and are going to fight in London," Hryunov said. "This is a serious fight against a very popular British boxer in his own backyard."
