According to Joel Diaz, trainer of former two-division world champion Timothy Bradley, WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. is playing a dangerous game if he intends to pass over Manny Pacquiao in favor of an alternate opponent for 2015.

The demand for a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight is astronomical at the moment and the ball appears to be in Mayweather's court, with Pacquiao publicly agreeing to any drug testing requirements and handing Mayweather the bigger portion of the money.

Mayweather is playing hardball, going on live on Showtime and telling Pacquiao that he's not likely to receive a previous offer of $40 million dollars, which Mayweather presented during a personal phone call with the Filipino star in 2012.

"I’m gonna be very honest with you, if Manny Pacquiao and Mayweather fight, just through my experience and my knowledge, I can tell you that right now Mayweather is between the sword and the wall, he’s cornered. He either has to step it up and fight Manny Pacquiao or he’s gonna lose a lot of credibility because I can hear it and I can see it, Mayweather is already at the point where people are not believing in his ability anymore because he hand picks his opponents," Diaz told On The Ropes Boxing Radio.
