Podolsk Boxing League, a rising Moscow Region fighting organization, is coming back to its local citadel of Podolsk with a bang. On November 8, Pavel Popov will arrange a tiny but a well-packed little tourney with just four contests, two of them being for PABA minor titles between Russian and Filipino boxers.

In the main event, local kayo artist Roman Andreev (15-0, 11 KOs) will risk his PABA lightweight title against durable Rey Labao (26-5, 17 KOs), who is 2-0 in his last two fights, including a road win over 20-5-2 Japanese Daiki Koide. Andreev hasn’t fought since his win over Ramadhan Shauri, which brought him a title a year ago.

Local bantamweight Nikolay Potapov (12-0, 6 KOs) will be tested by once-rated Jason Canoy (21-4-2, 15 KOs), a Filipino flyweight champion who is 5-0, 4 KOs, in 2014 while competing mostly as a super flyweight.

Also on the card is talented Russian martial artist Yulia Berezikova (1-0), who is looking to get into top-ten world female ranks against Hungarian “Black” Dalia Vasarhelyi (9-6, 2 KOs), who debuted as a pro in November 2012 but has already fought thrice (losing each time) for various world titles in the lightweight and light welterweight divisions.

The contest is scheduled for eight two-minute rounds. Finally, Alexander Podolskiy (1-0) takes on Dmytro Aushev (1-4, 1 KO) in a non-tile four-rounder.
