WBC/WBA junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia (28-0, 16KOs) realizes there is a lot of anger over the selection of Rod Salka (19-3, 3KOs) as the upcoming opponent for the Showtime televised tripleheader on August 9th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn - but he says the opponent doesn't matter because everyone will attend the card to see "the Danny Garcia show."

Garcia says he defeated Salka in the Pennsylvania Golden Gloves in 2006, but doesn't remember much from the fight.

"He's an awkward boxer, not a lot of punching power, but I can't overlook this guy. I feel that I have a lot to prove and come August 9th people are going to see the fire inside of me," Garcia told BoxingScene.com.

"At the end of the day, it's the Danny Garcia show. It don't matter who I'm [going to] fight. It's my show and I'm going to give my fans a great performance. It always happens, when the fans don't know of a guy they shoot the fight down. Every fight is a big fight when Danny Garcia steps in the ring."
