Belarusian hitman Sergey Khomitsky says he’ll cause a huge upset and halt fast-rising star Frank Buglioni in front of his home crowd.

Khomitsky challenges for Buglioni’s WBO European Super-Middleweight title on Saturday 12th April at the Copper Box Arena and aims to knockout the hot British prospect.

Buglioni has impressed with his all-action, hard-hitting, performances and has marked himself as one of boxing’s most exciting young talents.  He faces the toughest test of his unbeaten 12-fight career against the iron-fisted Khomitsky who ended Jamie Moore’s career and extended Martin Murray (twice), and the now retired Ryan Rhodes.

The 39-year-old, who’s only been stopped twice and one of those was against the dynamite punching Gennady Golovkin, says it’s a step too far for Buglioni and he’ll expose him on the night.

Khomitsky said, “I’m thinking that maybe Buglioni has underestimated me and thinks that I’m coming over to England to make him look good,”

“I don’t talk and boast before a fight.  I don’t like to talk about what I am going to do but he will see on the night that I’m coming for a fight and he’d better be ready,”

“I’ve been watching him and have seen his weaknesses and I know that he is very open to be hit, against someone like me that is a big mistake.  I have a good plan against him which I will use,”

“This is nonsense that he is going to knockout me out.  He may have stopped his last three opponents and I can assure you that I won’t the fourth.  He does not hit like Golovkin so he cannot hurt me,”

“Beating Moore was my best night in England, but beating Buglioni will be better.”
