Puerto Rican super bantamweight prospect Luis "Orlandito" Del Valle (16-1, 11 KOs) returns to the ring on Saturday April 4th at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City, as part of the series "Broadway Boxing." His opponent will be announced shortly.

In September, "Orlandito" had his first career defeat to Vic Darchinyan by unanimous decision.

Recently, he traveled to Mexico to train under the supervision of legendary Mexican trainer Ignacio "Nacho" Beristain at the Romanza gym. Beristain has had about twenty Mexicans world champions - including Juan Manuel Marquez, Rafael Marquez, Ricardo "Finito" Lopez, among others.

"Training with Nacho has been a great experience and a new stage in my young career," said Del Valle. "Don Nacho is a perfectionist and works hard in the art. I understand it is a process of adaptation, but I hope to show improvement in the fight

"Don 'Nacho' says I'm a good puncher and dominated the fight well at close range [with Darchinyan], but if I improve my boxing [he says] I would be elite. Everyone in Mexico has treated me as one of their own and I am very grateful."
