Juan Jose "Goofy" Montes (23-2-1, 14KOs) will now face Martin Casillas (11-2, 8KOs) in a WBO eliminator on January 12th at Foro Polanco in Mexico City. Montes was going to face Sonny Boy Jara but that deal fell apart. The weight for the match is not clear. Casillas has been campaigning at super bantamweight for at least five of his last few fights. Montes has been fight at super flyweight.
