BoxingScene.com recently caught up with former champion Anthony Mundine who makes his U.S. debut later tonight against Bronco McKart at the Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The fight will be televised by WealthTV pay-per-view.

The former professional rugby player said that he plans on fighting in the U.S. for the foreseeable future.  He also said that he is not interested in rematches against countrymen Daniel Geale and Danny Green who have both campaigned to avenge their losses to Mundine.

"I am not interested in those fights. I am going to fight here in the U.S. I'm here for the big dog and that is Floyd Mayweather. One by one they are going to fall," Mundine told BoxingScene.

While the chances of Mundine landing a fight against Mayweather appear next to impossible, the Australian has laid out a plan that he believes will put him in the running to land the mega-fight.

"I'm a 154 pound fighter. This fight is at 160 but I am going back to 54. I want a Cotto or an Alvarez to test me and then basically get to the big man and that is Mayweather," he explained.

Mundine feels that Mayweather is running out of potential opponents and if he were to defeat Cotto or Alvarez he thinks that he would become Floyd's number one option.

"Of course I can get the fight. He is running out of options. I will be the best option," Mundine concluded.
