Former Australian flyweight Peter Mitrevski Sr who trains his son, the reigning OPBF super middleweight champion Peter Mitrevski Jr  and at one time worked the corner of former world three division champion Jeff Fenech and former WBA/WBC and IBF welterweight champion Kostya Tszyu has revealed that Mike Tyson is scheduled to fight a series of exhibition bouts in Asia beginning in about two months.

Mitrevski who was visiting a good friend, internationally respected referee Bruce McTavish in Angeles City Saturday indicated the exhibition bouts would be over six rounds and the ten fights would begin with a bout in China. Tyson was also scheduled to box an exhibition in Japan but there were no details on the other countries.

Mitrevski disclosed through McTavish that Tyson would be paid $1 million per exhibition bout but didn't know who the promoters were.

McTavish who is also a longtime friend of Fenech said the former world champion who was in Bangkok had left for Phoenix, Arizona to begin training Tyson.

The 40 year old Tyson last fought on June 11, 2005 when he lost by a sixth round TKO to Kevin Mc Bride after suffering a fourth round KO at the hands of Britain's Danny Williams on July 30, 2004. Tyson's last win was a stunning first round knockout over Clifford "The Black Rhino" Etienne on February 22, 2003.
