According to IBF president Darryl Peoples, Main Events and CEO Kathy Duva won Thursday's purse bid at the IBF headquarters in East Orange, N.J., for the right to hold the organization's junior welterweight title bout between southpaw former junior welterweight and welterweight titlist Zab Judah of Las Vegas and Kaizer Mabuza of South Africa, likely in February or March at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

The winning bid was $50,000.

Duva said - "We are very happy that Zab has the opportunity to fight for the IBF Junior Welterweight title right here in New Jersey.  Winning this fight will put Zab right in the mix with the winner of Bradley-Alexander and Amir Khan.  Zab will work very hard to win this fight so that he will be one step closer to his ultimate goal of unifying all of the Junior Welterweight titles by the end of 2011!”
