According to reports in Panama, Guillermo "El Felino" Jones will travel to the United States on January 15 to start training in Cleveland for his next defense of the WBA cruiserweight title. The fighter said that his promoter Don King informed him of a possible opportunity being lined up to defend his crown in March or April of next year.

There are some rumors that King might be trying to make a fight between Jones and the WBA mandatory challenger, Cuban boxer Yoan Pablo Hernandez (23-1, 12 KO's) , but Jones is unaware of who his next opponent might be.
